oi galera!
yes, em, i am in são luís, maranhão and tomorrow i have a flight to brasilia. neil from ireland and his nice accent will come with me. the created city with some different things liker other cities. everybody is asking you “why are you going there?”
well for me there were a few reasons … it was the cheapest way to go south – instead of passing foz du iguaçu, what my plan was – , i wanted to gop back to a chapada, a nacional park in the interior because i wasn t satisfied with ust the week in the chapada diamantina/bahia, and i met some guysfrom brasilia in maracaúpe and they told me a bit about the city and said they can show me around a bit.
well, it´s just a few things what the diffrence makes: i won´t find a old house in this young city, i won´t find native peolpe and the order and the names of the streets is diffrent. oscar niemayr built that city like a airplane. so you live in one of wings, or in the body …. and the governmental buildings occupy a certain part of the airplane ….
then i will meet peolpe from all the parts of brasil who went living there. from everywhere! will be an incredible mixture.
i don´t know if i will see and recognize all these things in just 2 or 3 days, but i try and will have an impression ;-) and i will pass the last days of my 7 month in the nature. it´s been weeks that i am on the coast. i will leave the sea now. it´s just cities left. afterwards i will go to são paulo and then just heading back to rio. i miss it a lot now. well my friends there and the samba! it will be hard to say goodbye, but i will also love it going back at the 24. to my beautiful room, my bed, my friends and my school. yeah, going back to complain “i miss brasil” ;-D
i had really nice weeks now. i really enjoyed the northeast. i also heard peolpe saying “further north you are going, as nicer it is”.
the last days i spent the time with giovanni from napoli and in the nacional park of lençois maranhenses we had a crazy nice day with the carioca flavio and the spanish david. will upload photos then.
peolpe are very nice and friendly and the landscape is beautiful. a lot of sanddunes, with green inbetween and cows, donkyes and horses …
i am always wondering again how talkactive peolpe are in this country. thats what you get to feel every day and every where you go. mainly traveling alone or with peolpe also talking portugese.
i mean they just wanna talk all the time and about everything. about interesting and important things about their country, my country, the world, the economy, sustainable works … really interesting conversations until talking about daily stuff, problems, little happinesses … it doesn´t care were you are, – the toilet line, busstation, eating – always and everywhere somebody will speak to you.
ok, leaf you …
i am a bit confused, maybe i just write things dobble .. it´s a bit that i am in the internet.
tudo beleza, massa, take care, love and hugs,
carolina*
